Vitamin C is one of the most studied cosmetic ingredients. It is a powerful antioxidant and essential for the formation of collagen and elastin. Added to a test tube with fibroblasts, it provides a drastic production of collagen. It also stimulates the formation of collagen on human skin. Furthermore, it can reduce acne and pigment spots and works against rosacea. Helps with the production of collagen, which reduces fine lines and improves skin tone. Extremely stable, highly concentrated (20%) vitamin C serum. Vitamin C is naturally very unstable and does not tolerate moisture, light and oxygen well. Oxidized vitamin C (created when it has been in contact with oxygen) is not only no longer effective, but can even cause the formation of oxygen radicals, the opposite effect. Use: morning and/or evening. Apply to cleansed face and neck. A slight tingling sensation after application is not uncommon. Why? Vitamin C is a fruit acid; when applying an 'acid' to the skin, a slightly drying effect occurs. The higher the concentration of vitamin C, the more acidic and therefore 'drier' the skin can feel after use. This serum contains 12% vitamin C, the effect of which can literally be felt. Of course, this also depends on the extent to which the skin is already dry/dehydrated. However, it proves that the serum is actually effective and contains active, effective vitamin C.
