The Little Heroes House Foundation was specifically established to provide good care for premature babies and their families, in a unique living room concept with all specialists together. The idea came from pediatrician and neonatologist Angelique Haringsma, affiliated with the Neonatology department of the St. Franciscus hospital. Every year, 1 in 10 babies are born prematurely. Having a premature baby has a very big impact on the parents and family. A baby is premature if it is born between the 24th and 37th week. So more attention should be paid to this.
